Absentee Ballots are automatically sent to those registered as disabled with the Ulster County Board of Elections and those towns in Greene County which are part of the Onteora Central School District. These ballots will be mailed the last week of April.
If you would like to receive an Absentee Ballot because you will be unable to vote in person due to illness, hospitalization, incarceration (unless incarcerated for conviction of a felony), travel outside of Ulster County for employment or business reasons, studies, or vacation (Education Law 2018-a(2), 2018-b(2)) you need to print and complete an Absentee Ballot Application and send it to:

Applications may also be picked up at the Central administration office at 4166 State Route 28, Boiceville, NY between 8am and 4pm or by calling 657-6383 x1010. You may complete the application at the Central Administration office and be given an Absentee Ballot to complete.
Applications must be received in Central Administration by Tuesday, May 14, 2013. (NYS Ed. Law Sec. 218-A(2)(a)).
Absentee Ballots must be received in Central Administration by Tuesday, 5pm May 21, 2013 (NYS Ed. Law §§ 2018-a(8), 2018-b(9)).
If you are going to personally pick up your Absentee Ballot, you may return your completed Application to the District Clerk’s office at 4166 State Route 28, Boiceville no later than 5pm May 21, 2013.
