Welcome to the Onteora Central School Parent Portal

The Parent Portal is a feature of Infinite Campus, Onteora's student management system, that allows parents to view their child's school records.  After a year and a half of piloting the program and offering help sessions to parents, we are expanding the program to include any parent who has a child in grades kindergarten through twelve. 
 
Features available to parents include:
  • Attendance
  • Grades (5-12)
  • Teacher Email Access
  • Health
  • Assessments
  • Demographic Information
  • Food Service (New)
This year Infinite Campus added the Food Service feature which allows parents to view their child's lunch account, monitor their transactions, and put money on their accounts from home.  
 
We continually update our system as Infinite Campus releases new features.  This past year, members of the portal might have noticed the improved attendance feature and new interface.  
 
The Parent Portal can be a great tool for both the parent and the child.  It helps monitor academic progress and increases communication with the school.

To join the Parent Portal at the MS/HS level, look for the Parent Portal flyer in mailings sent home.  If your child is in elementary school, your building principal will send information home to you.  If you have any questions, email us at parentportalhelp@onteora.k12.ny.us.
 
The Parent Portal allows you to be a partner with your child's teacher and the school staff. By using the Parent Portal, you can work towards ensuring the academic success of your child.

Parent Portal Computer and Internet Connection Requirements

In order to effectively use your OCS Infinite Campus Parent Portal account you will need the following:

  • Internet Access - A minimum dial-up modem speed of 56Kbs – a slower connection will work but not as efficiently.
  • A computer that has a processor speed of 500Mhz or better (MAC or PC).
  • A Web Browser - It is suggested that you use Internet Explorer 5.0 or better.
  • Adobe Reader - This document reader is free and available for download on the web at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
