This machine is on 24/7 - You may call it anytime
As soon as you know you are going to be out, please call the sub service. Since the lists are so short, this increases your chances of getting a sub.
Remember:
MS/HS - You need to call in by 6:30 am
Elementary - You need to call in by 6:30 also
Please note: after 6:30, the information is faxed to the schools and if someone has called in "later" the sub line will often be busy calling to fill those positions.
Also, since the subs work for other districts, this applies for the 2 hour delays as well.
