WHAT is Amazon’s SchoolRewards?  If we told you that you could help bring fabulous entertainment to Bennett Family Nights and that your support would cost you NO MONEY and only TEN SECONDS of your time, wouldn’t you want to help?  We thought so!  Amazon’s SchoolRewards is a quick, easy fundraising program that allows school organizations to earn money at no cost to the people who participate.

WHY another fundraising program?  The Bennett PTA has always been extremely supportive of Arts in Education, donating money to the school for various performing artists who provide assemblies for all grade levels.Unfortunately, high quality artists command high prices, but since this area is definitely one in which you get what you pay for, the Bennett PTA continues to augment Mr. Buono’s budget for this type of enriching activity.  In fact, your financial support of many of the PTA programs held during the school year contributes to the Arts in Education activities at Bennett.  In an effort to bring these same high quality performances to Bennett Family Nights, the proceeds from the Amazon SchoolRewards program will be dedicated to presenting some wonderful performing artists at Family Nights-AT NO COST TO YOU!

HOW does it work?  It couldn’t be simpler.  If you choose to shop at Amazon.com at any time during the year and take TEN EXTRA SECONDS to access Amazon.com through the link on our Bennett School web site, up to 10% of the sale will be deposited to the Bennett PTA’s account.  THAT’S ALL THERE IS TO IT!  We are not asking you to spend ANYTHING other than the TEN EXTRA SECONDS it will take you to access Amazon.com via our web site.In effect, Amazon.com will be funding our special Family Night programs!!!

WHERE can I access the Amazon.com link?  Just go to the Bennett School web page and click on the Amazon SchoolRewards link at the right side of the page.  Please note that there is no “www” in the web address:http://onteora.schoolwires.com/bennett.  When the Amazon SchoolRewards page comes up, simply click on the Amazon.com banner.  You’ll find yourself at the Amazon.com home page and you may continue your shopping as usual.  THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO DO!  And it will be even quicker the next time around if you bookmark Bennett’s web site in your shopping favorites!

WHO can participate?  Parents, guardians, grandparents, teachers, staff members-ANYONE who chooses to shop at Amazon.com can support this program simply by accessing the Amazon.com home page through the Bennett web site.  It’s a perfect way for friends and relatives to show their support for your child’s school and activities, whether they live across town or across the country.  Contributing to this program is as easy as using our special link and, if you so choose, passing it along to others.

WHEN can I start?  Right away!  Immediately!  We’re all set to go!  (Can you tell we’re VERY excited about this new program?) We’re not asking you to buy anything you normally wouldn’t, but if you shop through Amazon.com anyway, this is a fast and easy way to make an EXTREMELY VALUABLE contribution to your child’s school AT NO EXTRA COST to you.  Electronics!  Groceries!  Toys!  Books!  Clothing!  DVDs!  And, of course, HOLIDAY GIFTS!!!  Almost anything you buy through our link provides a direct contribution toward the Bennett events our children enjoy so much.You can contribute with your very next order!
