Dear Onteora Community:

We thank you for your flexibility and partnership during these challenging times.  The District will be returning to 100% in-person instruction following the long weekend on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. 

We continue to monitor the data to support our decisions with the goal of providing the safest and most robust learning environment for our students. It continues to be possible for a single class or building to go remote while the rest of the district remains open.  Therefore, we ask that you remain patient with us and request you have contingency plans in place just in case we have to make temporary adjustments to our learning model.

Any students who are out sick or are quarantined will be supported by our staff.  Please continue to communicate directly with Health Services (healthservices@onteora.k12.ny.us), your child’s school nurse, their principal, and teacher(s) so that we all can work together to support your student if they are not in school.

Please remember, if your student is experiencing COVID -19 symptoms, we ask that you keep them home and get them tested.  You can register with Village Apothecary for a Free rapid antigen test at this registration link.
