Join Our Community Book Discussions!

This fall, the District invites parents, educators, students, and community members to take part in a series of discussions on “The Anxious Generation: How the Great Rewiring of Childhood Is Causing an Epidemic of Mental Illness” by Jonathan Haidt.

Sessions will be held on Monday evenings—October 27th, November 10th, and December 1st—from 6–7 PM. Attendance at all three meetings is encouraged, but not required. Location will be determined based on the number of participants.

To RSVP, please use this link. If you would like to borrow a copy of the book, complete the RSVP form. You can call 845-657-8851 to schedule a pickup at the Central Office in Boiceville.

This District-wide initiative is designed to foster open dialogue, strengthen school-family partnerships, and explore the effects of smartphones, social media, and screen time on today’s youth.

Our community book discussions are October 27, November 10 and December 1
