Community visioning and planning is continuing with three upcoming opportunities for District stakeholders to help prioritize, revise, and refine proposed designs for a central campus in Boiceville. Once finalized, these designs will be presented as a Capital Project for public vote on May 20, 2025.
These sessions are designed to ensure that any proposed updates for the final campus plan reflects the community's priorities and aspirations. The current designs are a work-in-progress based on extensive work completed to date including community gatherings, visioning sessions with students and staff, architect-led space utilization assessments, state-required building conditions survey, and more.
District administrators and architects will share their current best thinking on the campus design and invite your input. Sessions will be facilitated by our independent partner Sharon Lipovsky of Point Road Studios. Our aim in these sessions is to have open and honest dialogue, hear community feedback on priorities, and be transparent about the design, funding, and process for the path to the central campus.
All sessions will take place from 6–8 PM in the Middle/High School cafeteria. Each session builds on the last, allowing stakeholders to contribute meaningfully at every stage of the process. Thank you for your participation!
Session 1: Prioritize
On December 3, architects and engineers will share a first draft of their preliminary conceptual designs and attendees will engage in a prioritization exercise to capture feedback. The designs incorporate the creative ideas and priorities (see here)
shared during the initial visioning that took place last year during a series of community gatherings, as well as through smaller group discussions with internal stakeholders of students, staff, and administrators.
Session 2: Revise
On January 15, participants will gather to review more refined designs developed from the input and priorities identified during the December 3 meeting, and provide the architects and engineers with further input. Administrators will discuss the funding pathways for these revised designs.
Session 3: Refine
On February 25, a final gathering will be held to share updates to the plans and planned funding pathway with a chance for community Q & A. Your questions and input will guide the architect and engineers in finalizing their design work needed to propose a Capital Project for the May 20 vote.
Please RSVP HERE but drop-ins are also welcome.
Be a part of it. See you there!
