World Language Week Highlights Creativity and Language Skills

The hallways of the Middle/High School are filled with beautifully illustrated posters, thanks to World Languages Week, which was celebrated at the school from March 3-6. Continuing a longstanding Onteora tradition, World Language students in Grades 7 through 12 in the Spanish classes of Valerie Stewart, Annie Gallin, and Rebecca Joslin, and the French classes of Christi Nelsen-Epstein created colorful posters that showcased both their creativity and their language skills. Choosing from lists of Spanish proverbs and French tongue twisters, the students translated their chosen phrases into poster form and then shared their creations with their classmates.
