Aubrey has lived with her family in Boiceville for the last 7 years. She has two children at Bennett Elementary, as well as a little one at home. She graduated summa cum laude with degrees in Apparel and Textile Design and Merchandising Management from Michigan State University, and has spent the last two decades working in NYC as a designer. She was most recently the Senior Design Director for a major denim brand and part of their accelerated leadership program. Aubrey credits her ability to collaborate, problem solve, organize, and advocate, to her many years working as a leader for a team that managed a strong and impactful business.
Originally from a small town in northern Michigan, much like the district Onteora serves; Aubrey comes from a long line of public school teachers. She has a deep understanding and appreciation for educators and the commitment they have to their students. She plans to use this insight during her time on the board and let it help guide her decision making whenever possible.
Aubrey volunteers with The Good Company in Phoenicia, a program that supports seniors experiencing cognitive decline and isolation. She is also an active PTA volunteer. Aubrey is eager to learn and contribute to the Onteora school district and the community in meaningful ways.
