Information on Community Donations

Onteora welcomes the support of our school community. Parents and community members share their time, labor, and/or expertise in many ways, including by joining parent teacher organizations, serving on committees, volunteering in classrooms, and pitching in on school projects. A number of people have also asked how they could support our students and schools in other ways, including financially. Following is information on community donations:

MS/HS Donations:

Scholarships -  To create and fund a scholarship, or to donate to an existing scholarship please contact Lisa Casey, Secretary to the High School Principal, at lcasey@onteora.k12.ny.us or by calling 845-657-2373 ext. 2110.

ECA Clubs - Donating to an extra classroom activity (ECA) club are not tax deductible.  ECA Clubs include multiple activities throughout the Middle School and High School. For a list of ECA clubs, please reach out to principals’ offices. At the High School, contact Secretary to the Principal Lisa Casey at lcasey@onteora.k12.ny.us; at the Middle School, contact Secretary to the Principal Torre Sommer at tsommer@onteora.k12.ny.us, Checks can be sent to the ECA club through Central Administration at Onteora Central School District, PO Box 300, Boiceville NY 12412.   (Please Note–there are lists of clubs on the High School and Middle School websites, but not every club utilizes an account for fundraising so not all of them have the capacity to accept a donation.)

Onteora Booster Club - Donating to the Booster Club can be found on the club’s website (www.onteoraboosterclub.com). Checks can be made payable to the Onteora Booster Club and sent to PO Box 137, Boiceville NY 12412. You can also donate using the QR code found on the membership tab of the club’s website, or via Venmo @onteoraboosterclub. The Booster Club has multiple yearly membership levels for individual, family, and business memberships and is a non-profit organization.

Elementary Donations:

PTAs 

Bennett Elementary - Checks made payable to the Bennett PTA can be sent via student folders or mailed to the Onteora Central School District, Att: Bennett PTA, PO Box 300, Boiceville NY  12412. You can also become a member or donate online by visiting  https://bennett.memberhub.com/store. The Bennett PTA also has a QR code available on its membership form.

Phoenicia Elementary - Checks made payable to the Phoenicia PTA can be sent via student folders or mailed to the Onteora Central School District, Att: Phoenicia PTA, PO Box 300, Boiceville NY 12412. You can also become a member by visiting https://phoeniciapta.memberhub.com/store or by emailing the PTA officers at phoeniciapta@gmail.com

Woodstock Elementary - Checks made payable to the Woodstock PTA can be sent via student folders or mailed to the Onteora Central School District, Att: Woodstock PTA, PO Box 300, Boiceville NY  12412.  You can also become a member by visiting https://woodstock.memberhub.com/store or emailing the PTA officers at ptawoodstock@gmail.com 

Miscellaneous Donations

Anyone can make a tax-deductible donation directly to the school and designate the purpose of the donation. These donations are subject to Board approval and must be in compliance with District policy related to donations. Please mail checks to the Onteora Central Administration, Att: Business Administrator, PO Box 300, Boiceville NY 12412 and include the intended purpose of the donation.
