Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) Registration

Once registered, you will not be notified unless the application is missing documentation, then it will be denied.     If it is all received, it will be placed on 'Hold' until the lottery is completed in May.   Last day to submit application (for lottery) is May 1, 2024.  Any applications received after that date will be placed on the wait list.  

We are asking that you complete our online UPK registration.  Once the completed registration packet is received and reviewed, our Pupil-Personnel Department Assistant, Margaret Harkin, may contact you with any questions she might have about your application or to remind you of any missing documents required for registration.  When your child is registered, their name will be added to a list from which our UPK students will be chosen.  All children will be chosen randomly by lottery for our full-day or half-day programs.  Once the program is full, we keep up-to-date wait lists for both full and half-day slots.

Lottery is expected to be held after  May 2, 2024.   

To provide equity and allow all students a UPK slot, our lottery spots are chosen at random.  We do our best within the NYS guidelines for accommodating parent/guardian request for the program closest to the families residence but cannot guarantee that requests will be granted.
